Things are a poppin' at NVCC for yours truly...

As summer came to a close I was cast in a play called "Constitution Now" (Huzzah for me!) unaware ofv the amount of pressure and hard work involved.

I know it goes without saying that all Theatre productions are tough to a degree, but this is a super-special case of theatric masocism alltogether: WE HAVE LESS THAN FOUR WEEKS TO REHEARSE BEFORE PERFORMING AND TAKING THE PLAY ON TOUR!

If I manage to get offbook by sunday, I'll be alright- otherwise the stage manager will whip out his Deus Ex Machina and by the time he's through with me they'll be picking me up with a spatchula...

On the plus side, there's royalties and actor compensation to look forward to!

Classes have started and so far so good, aside from my Computer Class debacle this afternoon (Damn compooter wouldn't allow me to do anything...).

Annnnnnnnd in D.A.-related news!:

-I'm getting together a Burger King costume, so expect some interesting pics....

- As soon as I find the right "prop" needed, I'll be ready to submit my humor pic (No King included, sorry!)

-I'm working on a drawing titled "Gozu: The Jagged Calf"

It's your freindly,nieghborhood pin-cushion Dante!

After I just checked in to see what condition my condition was in, I've determined that boredom is at last getting the best of me and something must be done about it!

The cure for my conditon is more art, less oversleeping, the prospect of seeing freinds this week-and of course-MORE COWBELL! After weeks of blazing the job trail I'm in a "fuck it" kind of mood. I'm going to get the scanner workin' and submit those drawings (if I don't choke on my pride first).

I've also got some ideas for what I want to do over the fall/winter season, so keep an eye on this page for these Deviations from yours truly:

-Shroom-Boy

-Frank the Candy Colored Clown

-The Devils Showcase

-Dead Space

-Bertha Wormfoot

& more!

Muse, don't fail me now!

Ahoy sqirts! Just letting all you fine folk know that I'll be updating my D.A. page this June, since I've got too much on my plate this semester to do much else other than work,work,work...

I know that I said my drawings would be up by December, and that it's now mid-Apri, but I haven't had enough time to get around to things because even Winter Break was nuts!

So this June there'll be plenty of my crappy drawings and funky photography to look at-no excuses, no more waiting!

Until than, it's off to finish my algebra homework!YAY!

Stuff that doesn't suck...

Hey there everybody! It's yours truly here with some D.A, related news: I'm finally learning how to draw stuff that doesn't suck!

Drawing class has been a bumpy ride, due mostly to the fact that I suck at it. I mean, I have no problem with photography, but I can't draw to save my life!

And I can say with some pride that this is something that is beginning to change.

Cuz' come mid-November, all the stuff I drew that doesn't suck- as well as a few scraps that do- are going up!

And on Christmas, I'll post the rest...

On a closing note, I saw The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning... and it's worth the matinee' price.

The only other movies I might see this month are The Prestige and Saw III.

Gah, I must go watch Princess Mononoke. Now.
